Galactic Racer Steering Wheel Support

Check the developer’s steering-wheel support answer, distinguish controller rumble from full haptics, and choose a confirmed input method for Galactic Racer.

Quick answer

Galactic Racer does not currently have native steering-wheel support, according to the developer FAQ checked on 7 October 2026. Keyboard and mouse are supported, and controllers offer rumble. Unofficial input mapping does not establish native wheel profiles or force feedback.

Do not treat mapping as compatibility

Third-party software might translate a wheel into keyboard or controller inputs, but the FAQ does not verify specific wheel models, force feedback or a tested mapping. We have not tested such a setup and cannot promise that it will behave like native wheel support.

Rumble is not a full feedback system

The FAQ confirms controller rumble across platforms but currently excludes full haptics and resistance. It does not provide a release date for those features.

Pick a confirmed way to play

On PC, keyboard and mouse are supported without a mandatory controller purchase. If your current setup is a HOTAS or dual-stick system, check its own support answer rather than assuming that a floating vehicle uses flight-sim controls.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a verified compatible-wheel list?

The cited official source does not provide one. We do not infer support for Logitech, Thrustmaster or other models from generic remapping tools.
